Teddy's Stores. Fuel and food with a mission.

Franchise development · Opening 2027

Bring Teddy's to your store.

Teddy's Stores is a Connecticut fuel and convenience brand with a rescue dog on the sign and four community causes behind it. We are preparing to open the brand to independent store owners across New England.

Who Teddy is

A real dog, a real shelter, 2011

Teddy was pulled out of a Tennessee shelter in 2011. She ended up on the sign of nineteen stores.

Kevin and Patti Curry named the stores after her, and the brand took the shape of the dog: friendly, local, and pointed at the people who need something. Every store runs the same four causes. Every sponsorship gets the sponsor's name on it.

What grew out of that is a convenience brand people in Connecticut stop at on purpose. That is the thing we are opening up.

Built for stores that already exist

Conversions only

You already have the store

Teddy's is for an operator who already has a store, a lot, and a customer base. No ground-up construction, no site search, no waiting three years for a permit.

You stay the owner

The people in your town already know your name. The brand goes on the building and the pumps. The person behind the counter is still you.

New England first

The network is in Connecticut. Support that arrives in a truck the same day is worth more than support on a phone line in another time zone.

What conversion involves

Fuel & food with a mission

Four pillars, every store

Every Teddy's store puts money into the same four causes. A board directs the fund and franchisees sit on it. Every sponsor gets named on the site, in the newsletter, and at the register, so the money that goes out brings people back through the door.

Animal Welfare
Shelters, rescues and working dogs. Teddy came out of a Tennessee shelter in 2011, so this one is not a slogan.
Military & Veterans
Local posts, veteran families and the groups that keep them housed and fed after service ends.
Special Friends
Little League Challenger, rare-disease foundations and the programs that give kids with disabilities a place on the field.
Local Communities
Project Graduation, scout troops, the food bank two streets over. Whatever the town in front of the store actually needs.

How the fund works

Food is the second half

Coffee, chicken, breakfast

Fuel brings the car in. Food is what makes the stop worth something. Teddy's runs its own coffee program, and a chicken and breakfast kitchen called Sundays that bolts onto a site without a fryer or a grease hood.

A store owner can take the brand, the coffee, both, or add the kitchen later.
